Find details here about upcoming socials and trainings. The social meet ups are a way to get to know each other, learn more about different areas and departments, so bring yourself and maybe a friend to get introduced to some new folks and the ins and outs of volunteering at a burn event.

Ranger Training 101 – Online, On-Demand. Please complete this LoveBurn Rangers 101 training no later than 2 weeks before UBS starts on March 16th, 2023. Email proof of completions to Clover & Bacon
Fire Department Training – During the event Friday Afternoon March 17th. See Fire Chief Squirt for details
2-Day Incident Command System 100 Refresher course in-person at Houston Burners warehouse. Expect a two-part coverage Monday Feb 27th 8-10pm and Tuesday Feb 28th 8-10pm. Instructors are Clover & Epic Fail. The reason it’s a refresher is the only way to actually get the certification is to engage FEMA’s self-training module on the topic. So we can cover materials (ie, refresh people) but not certify. So even if it’s fresh to you, it’s a refresher, feel free to jump in.
