UBS 2023 Save The Date & Theme Submission

It’s time to take our Houston regional burn UnBroken Spring in new directions. The Houston Burners 501c3 nonprofit board of volunteers underwriting the event has additional new leadership keen to re-ignite the large Houston burner community.

1) New burn location: UBS 2023 has found a new home at Texas Music River Ranch in Webberville, TX.  The property is located under 2.5 hours from the Houston Burners Warehouse.

COVID Policy

To provide transparency to the community regarding our new COVID policy, no vaccine verification or testing pre-testing required for entry. However, temperature checks will be done at the gate to prevent symptomatic participants from entering the event. We highly encourage you to get tested before/after attending any event.  At the event, and anywhere for that matter, please respect anyone wearing a mask by keeping your distance. We highly encourage you to follow recommendations of the CDC, and local health authorities. All policies are subject to change due to evolving conditions, including land-owner requirements.

Themes Submission now closed.

Each year the community chooses a theme to inspire members to explore and create artwork, theme camps, costumes, and entertainment in a new and different way. Final theme voting will occur Dec 14th, 8pm at Church Night.

2) Leadership: Open call for volunteers to help lead the event. Gurus and mentors are ready to assist emerging leaders in the burner community who would like to take on the role of Project Manager for UBS, AKA Organizer in past years. Have you wanted to do it ‘your way’ in the past? This might be your year. Leaders can be empowered and assisted in the burner community ; Volunteer Intake Form is open

Save the dates: UnBroken Spring 2023 is expected to happen Thursday-Sunday, March 16-19, 2023!

Look for updates on this website for the opening of Art Grants ($ for your burn art addictions) and the richly contested Theme competition.
